Pitching Clinics

There is still room available in the Fall and Winter Pitching Clinics. This is a comprehensive pitching clinic with emphasis on mechanics and strength development leading to fast, accurate pitching.

This clinic is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced, and all age levels from Mite to Jr Ladies. We especially encourage House league pitchers to attend this clinic. Choose from several different sessions; pitchers will be grouped by age and ability.

The Fall Clinic runs weekly from October to March, while the Winter Clinic runs from January to March.

If a team has more than one player registered in the Fall Pitching Clinic, each player will receive a discount of $20.00 when they register for the 2010 season. Players who wish to become catchers are also encouraged to attend this clinic to catch for their pitcher(s); catchers may attend at no cost, and we will be trying to include some catcher instruction where possible.

Hitting/Fielding Clinic

North Shore Fastpitch is holding a fall Hitting/Fielding Clinic at Sutherland High School starting at the end of October. Quality instruction will help the girls improve their swing and their ball handling for the upcoming season.

Session #1: 13 & younger

When: October 31 - November 21, 1:45 - 3:45

Executive Volunteers Needed

We are looking for qualified individuals to fill two key executive positions: Registrar and Tournament Director.

Registrar duties

• Administer the online registration system, including payments and refunds;
• Answer registration questions via email;
• Provide division Coordinators with team forming data;
  
• Produce and email tax receipts.
  

Tournament Director duties

• Plan various NS Fastpitch tournaments for both house and rep leagues (league playdowns, district playdowns, end of season, and invitational);
• Coordinate and schedule the tournaments;
• Answer tournament questions via email;
  
• Participate on tournament Protest Committees.
